Job summary

SM City Bataan is seeking a Tenant Relations Officer to manage tenant needs and ensure mall standards are met. You will nurture partnerships from construction through daily operations to support business goals.

The role requires strong communication skills and 2+ years in tenant relations or related fields, with a focus on lease compliance and coordination with engineering and design teams. Based at SM City Bataan, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or Business Management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, project management, tenant relations or, property management.
• With strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with tenants from pre-construction to post-operation, ensuring lease terms, design standards, and mall regulations are followed.
• Coordinates tenant construction and renovation activities with Engineering, Building Administration, and Design teams to secure timely approvals and clearances.
• Monitors tenant accounts by tracking sales, rent, and utilities, ensuring accurate billing and prompt collections.
• Supports mall operations through regular inspections, tenant orientations, and coordination on housekeeping, safety, and security programs.
• Prepares and maintains tenant documentation, reports, and compliance records while coordinating with other departments and supporting continuous learning and professional development initiatives.

As a Tenant Relations Officer, your main focus is to manage and closely monitor that the needs of the tenants are met, and that their daily operations follow the SM house rules. At the same time, treating each tenant as valuable partners as early as construction, operations, and all the way until egress that is crucial to meet business strategic and financial goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with tenants by assisting them from pre-construction to post-operation, ensuring compliance with lease terms, design standards, and mall regulations.
• Coordinates tenant construction and renovation activities with Engineering, Building Administration, and Design teams to address concerns, align with design criteria, and secure timely approvals and clearances.
• Monitors tenant accounts by tracking sales, rent, and utility charges, ensuring accurate billing, prompt collections, and proper endorsement of overdue accounts.
• Supports mall operations through regular inspections, tenant orientations, and coordination on housekeeping, safety, and security programs to maintain a clean and compliant mall environment.
• Prepares and maintains tenant documentation, reports, and compliance records while coordinating with other departments and supporting continuous learning and professional development initiatives.
