Applus+ is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Australia and Pacific Finance team on a temporary basis to cover extended medical leave. The role supports critical finance operations across multiple entities, ensuring timely processing of financial transactions and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a multinational or SSC.
• Strong knowledge of AP, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Attention to detail and time management, ability to multitask.
• Independent work style with strong stakeholder communication.

Responsabilités

• Process supplier invoices, payment requests, and vendor reconciliations.
• Support month-end close with accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Monitor bank transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
• Review purchasing/approval requests for policy compliance.
• Prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate records across finance systems and data integrity.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
• Provide support to Accounts Receivable and related functions.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
