Emapta Philippines is seeking an experienced Australian Assistant Accountant to join our team in Manila. You will combine hands‑on AP with month-end close, journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting for an international business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including hands-on Australian accounting experience.
• Strong experience in Australian Accounts Payable and month-end accounting processes.
• CPA certification is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with JIWA ERP, NetSuite ERP, and/or Phocas BI is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations, financial analysis, reporting and data management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function for the Australian business.
• Process supplier invoices in the ERP system with correct approvals and accounting periods.
• Prepare month-end close activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting inputs.
• Support Australian taxation activities including BAS, FBT, and tax schedules.
• Assist with audits and maintain documentation and audit trails.
• Maintain data integrity across ERP systems and support financial controls.
