Job summary

BDO Unibank in Clark, Pampanga is seeking a Tellering Officer to process transactions in Teller for Signature (T4S) and ICOS with accuracy and adherence to bank standards. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will work onsite in Clark with rotational shifts, including graveyard shifts, and be available on holidays or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions promptly and accurately in Teller for Signature (T4S) and ICOS.
• Verify documents and ensure instructions are properly implemented.
• Observe maker/checker policy and secure approvals as required.
• Balance end-of-day transactions and report issues promptly.
• Maintain files and adhere to bank policies, including handling inquiries and exceptions.

Job description

The Tellering Officer is primarily responsible in processing transactions promptly and accurately in Teller for Signature (T4S) and Integrated Collection System (ICOS) in line with the Banks standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations
• Checks the authenticity and completeness of documents received from requesting unit/s prior to processing.
• Implements instructions (emailed/hard copy) promptly and correctly including processing of transactions received via OPICs.
• Ensures that all instructions received are completely processed.
• Observes maker/checker policy.
• Secures approval of transactions in accordance with existing Matrix of Approval.
• Coordinates immediately with designated personnel of requesting unit for disposition of any concern pertaining to instruction
• Performs end of day balancing of transactions.
• Reports immediately to Team Head/Officer any noted issue or incident that may result to financial loss or customer complaint.
• Checks that existing procedures are covered with updated and properly approved Interim Guidelines.
• Maintains file of documents in chronological order.
• Complies with Bank’s policies and procedures including rules on telephone courtesy, tardiness and absences.
• Ensures that transactions/reports are processed, posted, prepared, and or submitted correctly and promptly.
• Ensures that queries/concerns are immediately acted upon and or elevated to proper unit/s or authorities.
• Ensures that documents are immediately available when needed.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey information to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Clark, Pampanga
• Must be willing to work on a rotational shift (possible graveyard shift)
