Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a Wireless Engineer to process BOQ, update MDB, and support site integration for telecom networks.

The role requires 2–5 years in telecom, RF engineering, and network deployment; familiarity with MDB, NOC, and vendor equipment (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, FiberHome, ZTE) is preferred. You will work with internal teams and clients to ensure quality documentation and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

Wireless Engineer – Job Roles, Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Process and monitor Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from preparation until PO issuance.

• Update the Master Database (MDB) and endorse required changes.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure MDB configurations are accurate and compliant.

• Review and approve Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSR).

• Attend project meetings and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

• Prepare and maintain Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.

• Provide technical support to field implementers through chat, phone calls, and NOC access.

• Generate and validate 2G IP parameters and support network integration activities.

• Perform site analysis and recommend technical solutions for the target network design.

• Process and endorse Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).

• Handle technical inquiries and provide timely clarifications to stakeholders.

• Prepare and monitor Cost-to-Complete (CTC) projections for project budget tracking.

• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and engineering documentation.

• Prepare status reports and maintain project trackers.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and client requirements.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, ECE, RF Engineering, Wireless Communications, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.

• Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) is an advantage.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications, wireless network deployment, RF engineering, or project implementation.

• Experience in BOQ management, PR/PO processing, network integration, and engineering documentation.

• Familiarity with Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, FiberHome, and ZTE is an advantage.

• Experience with MDB, NOC, and project management tools is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G technologies.

• Knowledge of RF engineering, site implementation, and network integration.

• Experience reviewing BOQ, TSSR, MOP, and other engineering documents.

• Proficient in MDB management and data validation.

• Experience generating IP parameters and supporting network integration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
