Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Design Engineer to develop and refine telecom infrastructure designs at our Eastwood, Quezon City site. The role involves proactive project work, site-based assessments, and close collaboration with internal teams and CPS clients to meet demanding timelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecommunications infrastructure design, strong drafting coordination, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in telecommunications infrastructure design.
• Experience reviewing site survey information and producing site sketches.
• Ability to communicate clearly and review design options with team members, designers, and construction personnel.
• Ability to work in a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing and new telecommunications facilities based on existing information and site visit photos.
• Complete detailed sketches of existing features and proposed solutions on telecommunications facilities.
• Determine design solutions for supporting telecommunications equipment and antennas on: Existing mast or tower structures, Existing facilities, New field sites, Building rooftops.
• Perform structural design using relevant standards and codes of practice.
• Prepare and distribute information to drafting personnel.
• Take supervision and ownership of projects through all design phases.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines to meet tight deadlines.
• Liaise with internal teams and clients to obtain necessary information and approvals.
• Update project tracking systems and tools.
