Fibre home is seeking a talented Designer - Telco to join our engineering team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the development and design of telecommunications infrastructure and solutions. As Designer - Telco, you will be at the forefront of designing innovative systems and components that support our telecommunications offerings, ensuring technical excellence and reliability across our product lines. Your work will directly impact the quality and performance of our services delivered to customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical designs for telecommunications systems, components and infrastructure solutions
• Conduct design analysis and feasibility studies to ensure solutions meet technical specifications and project requirements
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, diagrams, technical drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers and stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals
• Perform design validation and testing to verify system performance and compliance with industry standards
• Identify and resolve design challenges through innovative problem-solving and technical expertise
• Support the implementation and deployment of designed solutions, providing technical guidance and recommendations
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in telecommunications and electrical engineering
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies within the organisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in telecommunications system design or related electrical/electronic engineering design roles
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and design tools commonly used in telecommunications and electrical engineering
• Solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, protocols, standards and industry regulations
• Knowledge of electrical systems, signal processing and network architecture relevant to telecommunications
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work through complex technical challenges
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements in the telecommunications sector
• Preferred: Experience with fibre optic systems, network design or previous work in the telecommunications industry
• Preferred: Knowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or specialised telecommunications design tools
