Artelia Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join the Bridges team.

The role focuses on BIM engineering design, 3D modeling, and producing detailed structural drawings for bridge and geotechnical projects using Tekla Structures. The successful candidate will create Tekla models, prepare reinforcement drawings for concrete and steel, and ensure drawings meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years of experience using Tekla Structures.
• Proven experience in Tekla Concrete and Rebar Detailing.
• Bridge engineering project experience preferred.
• Experience preparing structural BIM models and drawings.
• Experience performing Material Take-Off (MTO).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Bridges team. The successful candidate will be responsible for BIM engineering design, 3D modeling, and detailed structural drawings for bridge and geotechnical projects using Tekla Structures. This role involves delivering high-quality structural models and drawings from conceptual design through final design while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for bridge and geotechnical projects.

• Prepare structural drawings and detailed reinforcement (rebar) drawings for concrete and steel structures.

• Produce engineering documentation from conceptual through detailed design stages.

• Create and modify custom Tekla components, templates, and drawing settings.

• Perform material quantity take-offs (MTO) for structural elements.

• Coordinate with engineers, BIM specialists, and project teams to ensure design quality and project requirements are met.

• Participate in technical discussions, design coordination meetings, and project planning activities.

• Ensure models and drawings comply with company standards, client requirements, and project specifications.

• Maintain quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of project outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience using Tekla Structures.

• Proven experience in Tekla Concrete and Rebar Detailing.

• Experience in bridge engineering projects is highly preferred.

• Experience preparing structural BIM models and engineering drawings.

• Experience performing Material Take-Off (MTO).

Preferred Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, including:

  • Custom components

  • Templates

  • Drawing customization

• Knowledge of MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D (C3D), or OpenRoads Designer is an advantage.

• Experience in bridge and geotechnical structures.

• Ability to model both reinforced concrete and steel structures in 3D.

• Experience in cut-and-fill modeling using Civil 3D or OpenRoads is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
