Job summary

BF Corporation in Cainta, Rizal is seeking a Steel Detailer (Tekla Modelling) to design and produce detailed assembly drawings per AISC and AWS standards for fabrication and construction.

You will generate single part and collation drawings, work with structural engineers, review drawings for accuracy, and maintain documentation. A Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years in Tekla, AISC, and welding knowledge are required; Excel and PowerPoint skills are expected.

We are looking for a Steel Detailer (Tekla Modelling)

Company: BF Corporation

Location: Cainta, Rizal (Junction / Ortigas Ave Ext)

Salary: ₱25,000 - ₱38,000 (Depends on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and produce detailed assembly drawings based on the AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards and AWS (American Welding Society) guidelines. This involves translating engineering designs into practical drawings that will be used for fabrication and construction.
• Produce accurate single part drawings for individual components, as well as collation drawings, which group various parts or sections of a structure together for easier fabrication and assembly.
• Ensure that fabrication drawings are clear and easy to understand, streamlining the construction and assembly process for the production team. This might involve eliminating any unnecessary complexity while maintaining the required precision for manufacturing.
• Work closely with structural engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet the necessary structural integrity requirements. Modifications to drawings might be necessary to align with engineering insights.
• Review and check all drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications. Ensure that every aspect of the drawing is up to code and will be easy for fabricators to work with on-site.
• Maintain and update all technical drawings and documents associated with each project. Provide reports or updates to senior team members regarding the status of the drawing process.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering: Required for foundational knowledge in structural design and construction.
• 2+ Years Experience with AISC and Welding Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Tekla modeling and familiarity with AISC standards and welding techniques.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint: Necessary for documentation, data analysis, and presentations.
• Good Moral Character: Professionalism and integrity are essential in the workplace.
