Job summary

Good Neighbors International Phils. Branch Inc. seeks a Training Coordinator to facilitate partner collaboration, identify and screen training candidates, and support TESDA-certified TVIs and local TVIs in Tingloy CDP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Education, Social Sciences, Community Development, HRD, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in technical-vocational training, youth development, community development, employment facilitation, or project implementation.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, LGUs, TESDA-accredited TVIs, schools, employers, and other partner organizations.
• Strong skills in participant recruitment, screening, coordination, and facilitation of training or youth development activities.
• Experience or demonstrated ability in job placement, employer networking, career coaching, livelihood, entrepreneurship, or employment-related programs.
• Good monitoring, documentation, reporting, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage project timelines, requirements, and resources.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and coordination skills, with willingness and ability to conduct fieldwork and work in Tingloy CDP.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate identification, recruitment and selection of applicants for training.
• Discuss criteria with partner-institutions for selecting participants and screen the applicants.
• Ensure trainees submit complete requirements and prioritize marginalized youth for Learn and Grow Phase 2.
• In coordination with the Field Manager and the project team, recommend final candidates for training.
• Assist in enrollment by collaborating with TESDA-certified trainers and TESDA-accredited TVI in the area.
• Procure and manage training materials, tools, and equipment of the project.
• Monitor trainee attendance, progress, and welfare during the training program.
• Co-facilitate in conducting youth development sessions.
• Request and disburse trainee meal and transportation allowances and other school and pre-employment needs.
• Coordinate with partners for apprenticeship and possible job placement opportunities.
• Organize career coaching, job-matching sessions, and employer networking events.
• Assist graduates in accessing microloans and business development support for entrepreneurship, if needed.
