Coordination and Networking
- Establish partnership with TESDA accredited Technical Vocational Institute (TVI), TESDA, Department of Education (DepEd), MSWD, Local Government Units, DOLE particularly PESO, and other relevant institutions or organizations in the area.
- Establish good working relationship with project participants and partners.
- Develop a resource map and coordinate such for the implementation of the techvoc program from screening to employment or livelihood opportunities generation.
- Coordinate with partners the Memorandum of Agreement to be signed by the involve parties.
- Act as the primary liaison between and among Good Neighbors, TESDA, LGU, and other partners.
- Coordinate project monitoring visits and ensure reporting requirements are met.
Trainee Identification and Screening
- Facilitate the identification, recruitment and selection of the applicants or candidates for the training.
- Discuss with the partner-institutions the criteria in selecting participants for the training and jointly screen the applicants.
- Ensure that the trainees submit the complete requirements prior to the start of the training.
- Prioritize identifying marginalized youth for the Empowerment Program for Out-of-School Youth in Poverty-Stricken Areas for Good Neighbors Global Youth Program.
- In coordination with the Field Manager and the project team, recommend final candidates for the training.
Training Coordination and Support
- Assist in the enrollment of the trainees by collaborating with TESDA-certified trainers and TESDA accredited TVI in the area.
- Procure and manage training materials, tools, and equipment of the project.
- Monitor trainee attendance, progress, and welfare throughout the training program.
- Co-facilitate in conducting various youth development sessions.
- Request and disburse trainee meal and transportation allowances and other schoo and pre-employment needs.
Job Placement and Industry Linkages
- Coordinate with partners for apprenticeship and possible job placement opportunities.
- Organize career coaching, job-matching sessions, and employer networking events.
- Assist graduates in accessing microloans from Good Neighbors Social Development and Microfinance, Inc. (SDMI) and business development support for entrepreneurship, if needed.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor trainee performance in in TESDA accredited TVI and partner agencies.
- Prepare progress reports (monthly, quarterly and final) and submit them to the Social Development Division Manager through the tech-voc officer.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget, and donor expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Technical-Vocational Education, or related fields.
- 1–2 years of experience in NGO project implementation, preferably in livelihood or technical-vocational programs.
- Experience in TESDA-accredited programs or trainings is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work with marginalized communities and diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
- Willingness to be assigned in San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal or Hagonoy, Bulacan
