Job summary

Vault Outsourcing OPC is seeking a Technology Controls Manager in Metro Manila to lead a defined controls testing program and strengthen technology, cyber, and data risk controls. You will assess control design, walkthrough risk processes, and partner with stakeholders to drive improvements across the organization.

The role requires 4+ years in technology risk management, solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, and experience in controls testing and audits.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience in Technology Risk Management, ideally in a large, regulated org.
• Strong understanding of technology operational risk management, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in technology controls testing, risk assessments, audits, or assurance activities.
• Knowledge of technology audit standards such as CISA or CRISC.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, Essential Eight, ISO 27001/27000, PCI DSS).
• Strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret complex data.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technology Controls Testing Program: assess design and operating effectiveness.
• Conduct risk and controls walkthroughs across tech, cyber, and data environments.
• Identify, assess, and monitor technology risks and compliance.
• Evaluate residual risk and alignment with frameworks, policies, and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk and control practices.
• Provide practical risk and compliance advice to support the business.
• Escalate significant risk matters through governance forums.
• Promote risk awareness and a strong risk culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in risk and controls processes.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
