Job summary

Microchip Technology Philippines is hiring capable technicians to provide manufacturing support, assist with set‑ups and root cause analysis during production testing, and help meet goals for quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

You will verify holds and non‑conforming lots, perform first level engineering verification, and support improvement projects and new process qualifications. Hands‑on experience with ATE platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Electronics Technology or related technical/vocational certificate is required.
• 1+ year experience in semiconductor/electronics environment preferred.
• Strong electronics fundamentals and analytical thinking; good written and spoken communication.
• Proficient with MS Office; capable of working in a team and independently.
• Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, or Python is advantageous.
• Experience with RF, Mixed Signal, and Digital testing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ATE equipment such as Nextest, Credence, COHU, LTX Fusion, and other listed testers.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing support in product set‑up and problem isolation.
• Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test.
• Support meeting company goals for product quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Assist with setup and isolation procedures to support manufacturing.
• Support verification and disposition of hold lots, LRR, and non‑conforming lots.
• Perform first level engineering verification and analysis.
• Verify visual mechanical rejects and validate findings.
• Conduct inline/off‑line verification of production issues and initial analysis of non-conforming lots.
• Provide engineering support on improvement projects and in qualification activities for new processes.

Job Summary:

• Provide manufacturing support in product set-up and problem isolation.
• Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test.
• Other responsibilities also include necessary support to help meet / exceed the company goals in product, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost and support the production line to help achieve development goals.
• Perform basic set-up and isolation procedures to support manufacturing.
• Provide support on verification and disposition of hold lots/LRR and non-conforming lots.
• Perform 1st level engineering verification and analysis.
• Perform visual mechanical rejects verification and validation.
• Perform in-line and off-line verification of production issues and initial analysis of non-conforming lots or hold lots/LRR.
• Perform in-line and off-line verification of QA failed lots.
• Provide engineering support on improvement projects.
• Provide support in qualification evaluation/activity of new process flow/material/device/test program/test board.
• Provide engineering support in the investigation and implementation of actions for quality improvement.
• Provide support to Production to achieve plant and departmental goals. - Conduct line monitoring and elevate non-conformance or concerns

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS Electronics Technology or any related technical/vocational courses
• Working experience: At least one (1) year of work experience from semiconductor/electronics company
• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good in oral and written communication
• Proficient use of computer software such as MS Office.
• Team player and can communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming language such C, or C++, python is an advantage
• Familiarity on RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on working experience in ATE such as Nextest testers (PT, HD, GT, and VT), Credence, COHU (D1x, D10, D20), LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne and other equivalent ATE.
