Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an operator to perform 6S activities before and after shifts in the DPG–HRDS area, and to monitor processes with SPC and sampling tests. You will manage records in AX/e-logsheets/Qualis and ensure proper lot accounting and rejection categorization.

The role requires the ability to follow specifications, work with accuracy, and cooperate within a team. A high school diploma or GED is required, with good math, reading, and computer basics expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6S activities pre and post shift in DPG–HRDS operation, manual or semi-automatic.
• Monitor processes and visual checks, SPC, sampling tests per specification procedures.
• Handle computer transactions regarding AX / e-logsheets / SPC / Qualis and related records.
• Account for lot quantities and properly categorize rejected parts.
• Make decisions based on existing specifications and criteria.
• Perform other tasks as required.
