Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in the Philippines is seeking a Technician in Equipment Engineering to support test floors, maintain equipment performance, and ensure smooth production runs.

You'll perform setup, qualification, and buyoff activities for production and engineering use, generate downtime reports with RCA/CAPA where applicable, and collaborate with Manufacturing, NPI, and other teams to minimize interruptions.

Qualifications

• Must have technical knowledge in electronics or electromechanical systems.
• Experience with test equipment and vision systems is a plus.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all equipment on Test Floor is operating properly and maintains high Test and Vision yield performance.
• Perform equipment setup, qualification, and buyoff activities prior to release for production and engineering use.
• Prepare and submit shift reports detailing daily activities, equipment downtime incidents, corrective actions, and status updates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance metrics such as Efficiency, MUBA, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Generate one-pager reports for major equipment downtime events; including RCA, CAPA where applicable.
• Provide maintenance and technical support to Manufacturing, Engineering, NPI and other departments requiring assistance with Test, Tape-and-Reel, and Vision systems.

Your new responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and technical support to Manufacturing, Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction), and other departments requiring assistance with Test, Tape-and-Reel, and Vision systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment-related issues to minimize production interruption

Who we are looking for

• Graduate of Electronics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical. Other Technical courses are also welcome
• Experience in Test Equipment, Tape-and-Reel Machines, and Vision System is an advantage
• Fresh Graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work in a manufacturing and production environment
• Willing to work in monthly day / night rotation shift schedule
