Job summary

ams Asia Inc in Laguna is seeking an Early Professional for Maintenance Engineering on the Test Floor. You will ensure equipment operates reliably, perform setup and buyoff activities, and prepare shift reports detailing downtime and actions taken.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with duties across Test, Tape-and-Reel, and Vision systems. The role requires willingness to work a monthly day/night rotation, in a manufacturing setting, at our Calamba site in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics, Electrical or Electro-Mechanical disciplines.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience with Test Equipment or Vision System is advantageous.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all equipment on Test Floor is operating properly and maintains high Test and Vision yield performance
• Perform equipment setup, qualification, and buyoff activities prior to release for production and engineering use
• Prepare and submit shift reports detailing daily activities, equipment downtime incidents, corrective actions, and status updates
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance metrics such as Efficiency, MUBA, and overall equipment effectiveness
• Generate one-pager reports for major equipment downtime events; including RCA, corrective actions, and CAPA where applicable
• Provide maintenance and technical support to Manufacturing, Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction), and other departments requiring assistance with Test, Tape-and-Reel, and Vision systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment-related issues to minimize production interruption

Your new responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment-related issues to minimize production interruption

Who we are looking for

• Graduate of Electronics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical. Other Technical courses are also welcome
• Experience in Test Equipment, Tape-and-Reel Machines, and Vision System is an advantage
• Fresh Graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply
• Willing to work in a manufacturing and production environment
• Willing to work in monthly day / night rotation shift schedule
