Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking an experienced technician in Laguna, Calamba to repair SRM tape and reel and Vitrox inspection equipment. You will convert equipment per SUS from Production and Planning and ensure releases meet specs.

The role requires at least 5 years in semiconductors and knowledge of SRM/ Vitrox systems, with potential to lead a small team. Candidates should have a technical background in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical fields and experience with Vision and Tape & Reel equipment.

Qualifications

• College graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical fields.
• At least 5 years semiconductor industry experience in the same field.
• Technical knowledge of SRM taping and Vitrox vision inspection machines.
• Ability to lead and supervise a small team (advantage).
• Experience on Vision and Tape and Reel equipment in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for immediate repair and troubleshooting of SRM tape and reel and Vitrox inspection equipment.
• Performed equipment conversion based on SUS provided by Production and Planning.
• Ensure all completed equipment conversions meet required specs before release to production above target.
• Monitor equipment uptime performance, verify causes of downtime and ensure handler uptime within or above target.
• Provide RCA and CAPA on all equipment-related issues and downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects assigned by immediate superior.
• Responsible for making and updating the EFMEA of the handle and assigned equipment.
• Maintain 5S.

Who we are looking for

• With minimum level experience in Semiconductor Industry particularly on Vision and Tape and Reel equipment
