Job summary

ams Asia Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a senior Test Product Engineer to drive root-cause analysis and optimize test processes for yield, throughput, uptime, and cost.

You will analyze test data, enforce standards, and support NPI activities, audits, and production ramp. The role requires 7+ years in semiconductor test engineering, experience with Final Test and Wafer Sort, and proficiency with LTX X-Series and DiamondX testers, plus knowledge of digital/mixed-signal testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent position.
• Experience on Final Test and Wafer Sort test processes, LTX X-Series and DiamondX testers.
• Knowledgeable in Digital and Mixed Signal test Methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, 8D, FMEA certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex test yield and quality issues.
• Analyse test data and trends using data driven methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and prevent escapes.
• Define and enforce test process standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Support NPI activities, including test readiness, characterization, correlation, and production ramp.
• Support customer and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
• Mentor and technically guide junior and mid-level engineers and act as a technical escalation point for critical manufacturing issues.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Who we are looking for
