Responsibilities

• New Client Installation and Activation duties including aerial/underground cabling and customer premise wiring.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

New Client Installation and Activation

• Responsible for aerial, underground structural cabling and customer’s premise cable installation to provide internet connection.

• Performs fiber splicing and testing using fiber optic equipment and tester.

• Performs termination, bonds, and grounds.

• Performs civil works construction if needed.

Network Operation and Maintenance

• Perform maintenance on existing cables including evaluation tests, repair of old and malfunctions cable. Locate problems areas and perform other repairs needed.

• Responsible for troubleshooting, restoration, and maintenance of main cable and client’s connection.

• Driving company vehicles on official business (For company's authorized drivers only.)

Communication

• Coordinate with SDM, Master Planning, Special Project, ROWSA, Access Planning and NOC for daily assigned on site task and activities.

• Proper coordination with client for on time site visit, new installation, activation and restoration.

• Timely updating on Viber & Teams group chat for onsite activities.

Documentation

• Completion of Service Acceptance Report from client.

• Timely submission of daily activity log.

• Timely submission of OB, Timely submission of Incident Report for restoration.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Technical/Vocational Courses or its equivalent.

• Relevant and strong exposure to OSP/FTB works at one (1) year.

• A basic knowledge in fiber optic theory is required.

• Ability to operate a computer and FOC test/splicing equipment.

• Excellent time management skills and keen attention to detail.

• Willing to work beyond office hours and shifting schedule.

• Must know how to drive and with valid driver's license.
