Overview

On-site - Mandaluyong | 1-3 Yrs Exp | High/Senior High School | Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure fiber optic cables (aerial and underground) for FTTH networks
• Perform pole climbing, lashing, and cable pulling activities safely
• Assist in fiber splicing, joint closures, and termination work
• Install and maintain drop cables to customer premises
• Identify and repair fiber faults, cable damages, and network issues
• Follow approved drawings, BOQs, and installation standards
• Use tools and equipment safely (ladders, climbing gear, power tools)
• Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and FiberHome standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members on site
• Complete daily work reports and documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in FTTH / fiber optic network installation
• Experience in aerial and/or underground fiber deployment
• Knowledge of basic fiber optic components (ODF, closures, splitters, drop cables)
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on FiberHome or similar FTTH projects
• Basic fiber testing knowledge (OTDR, power meter – advantage)
• Valid lineman or safety certification (if applicable)
• Team player with good communication skills
