Job summary

ADEC Innovations in the Philippines is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Proposal Manager in the smooth execution and delivery of proposals and related technical writing tasks.

Responsibilities include developing proposal content per RFP/RFQ/RFI, ensuring alignment with reader expectations, adhering to style guides, and coordinating with US SMEs to produce timely, high-quality submissions and other technical documents as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Communication, English or related fields.
• At least 1 year of experience in business, technical, or proposal writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposal content that meets the technical specifications of the RFP/RFQ/RFI.
• Develop proposal content that meets the target reader's expectations (technical, operational, or executive level).
• Develop proposal content that follows set style guides.
• Collaborate with US-based subject matter experts during proposal writing and submit high-quality proposals within set timelines.
• Lead/work with teams in assessing proposal requests and estimate the time required to develop and submit drafts.
• Develop other technical documents such as environmental reports, operations manuals, and other deliverables as necessary.

Under the supervision of the Proposal Manager, the Technical Writer is responsible for the smooth execution, as well as the effective delivery of proposals and other technical writing tasks required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop proposal content that meets the technical specifications of the Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), or Request for Information (RFI)
• Develop proposal content that meets the target reader's expectations (whether technical, operational, or executive level)
• Develop proposal content that effectively follows set style guides
• Effectively work with the US-based subject matter experts during the proposal writing process, and submit high quality proposals within set timelines
• Effectively lead/work with teams in the assessment of proposal requests, and provide estimation of the time required to develop and submit proposal drafts
• Develop other technical documents such as environmental reports, operations manual, and other deliverables, as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably AB/BS in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Communication, Secondary Education (major in English), English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Literature, Language and Literature, as well as other Communication- and English language-related courses
• At least 1 year experience in business, technical, or proposal writing (preferred)
