Job summary

InfraSensing is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for sensor products, including manuals, datasheets, presentations, and internal documentation. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instructions and ensure accuracy before customer release.

The role requires collaboration with engineering and production teams, proficiency in Word/PowerPoint, and the ability to read datasheets and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; or proven technical writing experience.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, user-friendly technical docs.
• Strong command of written English (grammar and clarity).
• Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, or embedded systems.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, specs, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
• Experience creating diagrams or visuals (Visio, Canva, etc.).
• High attention to detail and structured information delivery.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio or writing samples are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This includes manuals, datasheets, presentations, and internal documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring that our products are clearly understood, properly documented, and meet company standards for accuracy and usability before reaching our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation for new and existing products (datasheets, manuals, guides)
• Develop presentations and visual materials to support product understanding
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instructions
• "Dummy-proof" instructions to ensure ease of use for non-technical users
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to create internal documentation
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all documentation
• Serve as backup support in responding to customer inquiries related to products

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any related field, or with relevant experience in technical writing for electronics or emerging technologies
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation
• Strong command of written English (grammar, clarity, and structure)
• Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, or embedded systems
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, technical specifications, and diagrams
• Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or similar)
• Basic skills in creating diagrams or visuals (e.g., Visio, Canva, or similar tools)
• Strong attention to detail, especially in proofreading and error detection
• Ability to organize and structure information logically
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Portfolio or sample technical writing work is a strong plus
