Job summary

A leading mining and power company in the Philippines is seeking a Technical Trainer. You will be responsible for leading technical training programs, creating engaging materials, and mentoring employees to enhance their skills in mechanical, electrical, and allied trades. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and experience in training delivery are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in technical training delivery in an industrial setting.
  • Certifications in Automotive Servicing NC I & II and Training of Trainers (ToT).
  • Certifications in Automotive Servicing NC I & II and Training of Trainers (ToT).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Competency Training & Assessment programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Technical Competency Training & Assessment programs across mechanical, electrical, and allied trades
  • Conduct Training Needs Analyses to identify skill gaps and design targeted curricula
  • Create engaging learning materials—workshops, e-learning modules, practical exercises—and corresponding assessments
  • Coach and mentor employees, track progress, and deliver feedback to reinforce best practices
  • Partner with SMEs and line managers to ensure training aligns with safety, EHS, and operational standards
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 1–2 years’ experience in technical training delivery (industrial/manufacturing setting preferred)
  • Certifications in Automotive Servicing NC I & II and Training of Trainers (ToT)
  • Strong communication, planning, and IT proficiency
