Job summary

Philippine EDS Techno-Service, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide daily technical support for Windows systems, CAD software, and related tools.

You will maintain PET's network infrastructure, perform PMC, and ensure continuous operation by troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly, coordinating with vendors as needed.

Strong English communication and documentation skills are essential to document processes and share knowledge with the team in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, Cisco ISE, and WAN optimization technologies.
• Proficiency in server virtualization and hypervisor platforms.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux/Unix or Solaris environments.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for Windows systems, CAD software, and other application tools used by PET
• Maintain and support the existing network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, Cisco ISE, and WAN optimization systems
• Perform daily preventive maintenance checks (PMC) on PET Branch Office network systems, servers, and data center facilities
• Ensure continuous operation of PET computer systems and network by conducting troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly
• Coordinate with vendors to address and resolve any system or network-related problems identified during operations
• Deliver immediate technical support and resolution for critical issues encountered during PET operations
