Job summary

MMI in Metro Manila seeks a Technical Staff / Aluminum & uPVC Systems Specialist to support design, fabrication, and installation of aluminum and uPVC window, door, and façade systems. You will review drawings, prepare shop drawings and cutting lists, conduct site measurements, and supervise installations.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience in relevant systems, proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), and strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Mechanical Engineering; PRC license is an advantage but not required.
• 2–3 years of experience in aluminum/uPVC windows, doors, or façade systems.
• Proficient in preparing cutting lists, BOQs and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of profiles, hardware, glass, and installation methods

Responsibilities

• Recommend appropriate window/door profiles and systems (sliding, casement, awning, fixed, etc.).
• Review architectural drawings and prepare shop drawings
• Provide technical solutions to design challenges ensuring strength, water-tightness, and functionality
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication plans
• Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for profile, hardware, and accessory requirements
• Optimize materials to minimize wastage and cost
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before production
• Provide installation plans and supervise jobsite execution
• Troubleshoot technical issues on site (alignment, water leakage, hardware fitment)
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Staff / Aluminum & uPVC Systems Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical support in the design, planning, fabrication, and installation of aluminum and uPVC window, door, and façade systems. The role involves reviewing architectural drawings, preparing shop drawings and material requirements, conducting site measurements, supporting fabrication and installation activities, and troubleshooting technical concerns. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, fabricators, contractors, and site teams to ensure quality, functionality, cost efficiency, and timely completion of projects.
