Qualifications

About the role

The position is primarily responsible for ensuring that all technical specifications and requirements of our bathroom products are well coordinated with the clients, contractors and everyone involved in the site preparations for the smooth installation of our bathroom products. The Technical Specialist is also expected to prepare technical drawings/shop drawings that will better illustrate the requirements that we need for the installation. He/she will also attend site meetings whenever required by the client/s. He/she will be consulted by the product specialists on technical matters for them to come up with the best possible design solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Technical Assistance

1. Produce drawings, renderings, technical details as needed by the Product Specialist.
2. Check technical details of the proposed bathroom sets, check completeness of parts/assembly.
3. Ensure that all presentation drawings meet the premium standards of our brands.
4. Create shop drawings that will be submitted to the concerned parties for the preparation of the site for our installations.
5. Recommend and source for local part options and suppliers as necessary.

Client Management

1. Provide the Product Specialist all necessary documents and requirements needed in a complete and timely manner (technical drawings, etc) in order for us to respond to clients with full urgency.
2. Thoroughly check sales designers’ proposals in terms of feasibility and technical correctness.
3. Ensure that Company policies and decisions are clearly, professionally and pleasantly communicated to clients.

Project Management and After-Sales Coordination

1. Provide speedy after-sales services support
2. Do regular site inspections to monitor site progress (in coordination with the FGI project coordinators)
3. Make project folder + working drawings and endorse to client, contractors; coordinate with FGI project coordinators for the correct implementation of all pre-installation requirements.
4. Documentation of site findings and coordinate with Project coordinators if there are action steps that need to be worked on.
5. Thoroughly check product specialist’ orders in terms of technical correctness and completeness.
6. Attend site meetings
7. Help resolve product concerns and complaints
8. Ensure completeness of client Delivery in tandem with the Service Dept’s project coordinators.
9. Act as the PIC for Bathroom Projects
10. Secure certificate of acceptance for bathroom projects
11. Handover/turnover of items to site
12. Materials delivery inspection form

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering from a reputable university
• Preferably with license, but not required
• With at least 1 to 2 years of experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technical skills -knowledge in construction specifically in plumbing
• Organizational skills
• Ability to use design softwares for the preparation of shop drawings
• Must know how to use Microsoft Applications especially Excel, CAD, Photoshop, VRAY, Sketch-up, etc.
• Can drive with a valid driver's license
