Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced SEO lead to own organic search performance and the health of the company website, auditing existing content and guiding optimizations.

You will work with Product Marketing and Creative to close gaps, structure content for AI-driven discoverability, and coordinate with a US-based team on mid-shift hours in a hybrid setup. Strong analytics, technical SEO fluency, and excellent English communication are essential to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or organic growth.
• Experience auditing and optimizing content at scale against defined SEO/AEO performance criteria.
• Experience identifying content gaps and opportunities from performance data and translating them into briefs.
• Strong technical SEO fluency and ability to work with a development team on implementation.
• Experience working with analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console) to tie performance data to content decisions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with US teams.
• Willingness to maintain working hours overlapping with US-based teams for collaboration.
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup and on a mid-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and scoring existing content against SEO/AEO performance criteria and building a backlog for optimization, updates, or retirement.
• Identifying content gaps from performance data and requesting new content from Product Marketing and Creative.
• Structuring both new and existing content for organic and AI-driven discoverability.
• Owning the technical relationship with the external development team on the website platform, technical SEO, and analytics infrastructure.
• Building reporting and analysis from integrated performance data to continuously tune content and SEO decisions.
• Managing the website support and maintenance function to ensure ongoing technical site health.
