About the Role
Greenlight Power Inc. is looking for a technically competent and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
The successful candidate will combine electrical engineering knowledge, technical sales expertise, and business development skills to identify project opportunities, understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate electrical solutions, and convert leads into actual projects.
The ideal candidate has experience in the construction and electrical industry, with knowledge or hands‑on exposure to panelboard fabrication, switchboards, electrical distribution systems, and electrical services.
This role will work closely with contractors, consultants, electrical engineers, developers, and project owners, providing technical support while developing strong client relationships and driving project sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities within the construction, industrial, commercial, and electrical sectors.
- Promote and sell fabricated panelboards, switchboards, electrical equipment, power distribution systems, and electrical services.
- Review and understand electrical plans, specifications, single-line diagrams, technical requirements, and project documents.
- Analyze client and project requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with consultants, contractors, electrical engineers, developers, and project owners.
- Identify upcoming construction and electrical projects and establish early engagement with project stakeholders.
- Prepare, coordinate, and present technical-commercial quotations and proposals.
- Work closely with the Engineering, Estimation, Fabrication, and Operations teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and technically appropriate proposals.
- Conduct site visits, project presentations, product demonstrations, and technical meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Monitor sales opportunities from lead → inquiry → quotation → negotiation → purchase order.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular reports on project and sales activities.
- Assist in project handover and coordinate with internal teams after order confirmation.
- Address customer technical inquiries and provide appropriate product and project solutions.
- Achieve assigned sales, project acquisition, and business development targets.
- Continuously identify opportunities for account expansion and new project development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Preferably a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
- With experience in technical sales, construction sales, electrical contracting, project sales, or business development.
- Experience in panelboard fabrication, switchboards, electrical distribution systems, power distribution equipment, or electrical services is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to read and understand electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and project requirements.
- Knowledge of the construction project cycle and electrical project requirements.
- Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, developers, electrical engineers, project owners, and other project stakeholders.
- Strong technical communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Strong business development and lead-generation skills.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Willing to conduct site visits, client meetings, and field sales activities.
- Willing to travel as required for project and client engagements.
