Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team by providing technical business-consulting advice to customers. You will gather customer requirements and propose optimal configurations.

The role collaborates with PM to keep the Sales team informed on product knowledge, roadmaps, and end-of-life notices, and will help finalize BOMs to ensure proposals meet customer needs. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer/Technical Sales.
• Willing to work at Quezon City location.

PRE-SALES ENGINEER

This role supports the sales team by providing technical business-consulting advice to both internal and external customers. Responsible for providing pre-sales technical consulting and for taking the customer's technical, financial, and business requirements into consideration in order to recommend an optimal configuration.

SALES ENABLEMENT

Closely works with PM to ensure Salespeople are enabled in terms of product knowledge and product positioning thru regular training or product briefing. Together with PM, regularly update Sales team on Product Roadmap including products approaching End-of-Life and End-of-Support in a timely and efficient manner. Pre-Sales will configure and come up with a final BOM, thereby certifying that the proposal meets the Customer requirements (ensuring Technical integrity)..

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in any Computer/IT /Engineering Related Course

• Must have at least 1yr experience as Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales

• Willing to work in E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. Quezon City (near mabuhay welcome rotonda)

• Basic knowledge in UPS, Data Center Operations particularly in Servers

• Hands-on Experience in Network Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery Operations, Virtualization

• Good communication skills
