Job summary

Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Technical QA to review quality specs and design documents, and to create detailed test plans and test cases. The role is based in Eastwood Libis QC with a hybrid setup and standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Technical QA role.
• Experience with automation testing.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience working with an offshore team.
• Experience with various QA tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Zephyr would be a HUGE plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• GAP Analysis.
• Conduct sanity testing on the current version of the system and create JIRA cards from Gap Analysis.
• Verify backlogs based on raised JIRA cards.
• Define severity of backlogs and prioritize based on deadlines.
• Estimate effort to complete testing of backlogs.
• Create test cases based on client specifications.
• Verify JIRA cards are QA-ready and link to test cases.
• Conduct Sanity Testing on live environment to verify fixes.
• Perform API testing.

Job description

TheTechnical QA is responsible for reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You are also expected to create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Job Details:

• Technical QA

• Eastwood Libis QC (hybrid setup)

• Monday to Friday | 11 AM to 8 PM Manila Time

Responsibilities:

• GAP Analysis

• Conduct sanity testing on the current version of the system, then create JIRA cards based on Gap Analysis

• Verify the backlogs based on the raised JIRA cards

• Define severity of backlogs and address priority based on the deadlines/timeline given

• Give a projection of the effort needed to accomplish testing of backlogs

• Create test cases based on the client specification

• Verify JIRA cards ready for QA, then tag them accordingly based on the test results, linking the JIRA cards to test cases

• Conduct Sanity Testing on live environment to verify that the fixes/changes were deployed properly

• API Testing

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a Technical QA Role

• Experience with Automation Testing

• Experience with API Testing

• Experience working with an offshore team

• Experience with Various QA Tools

• Experience with the following tools would be a HUGE Plus (Jira, Confluence and Zephyr)

• Good communication skills

• Excellent Documentation Experience
