Job summary

Talentium Inc. in Pasig, Philippines, is seeking an experienced SQA Test Lead to drive end-to-end quality engineering for enterprise-grade systems in trade, supply chain, and financial services domains.

You will define test strategy, lead automation initiatives, and ensure high-quality releases through governance and risk management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor QA members, and report test progress with clear dashboards in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with strong leadership as a Test Lead.
Proven experience in Agile environments and cross-functional delivery teams.
Hands-on experience with test automation and CI/CD integration.
Experience testing financial systems, banking, or regulated environments (required).
Background in system integration, APIs, data validation, and reporting systems.
Experience supporting audits, data migration, and compliance (advantage).

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the overall test strategy and quality engineering approach, including test levels, environments, tools, automation, and release readiness criteria.
Lead key quality activities such as test planning, defect triage, and release readiness reviews.
Drive risk mitigation, root cause analysis, and preventive actions across delivery teams.
Review project artifacts (requirements, design documents) to ensure test readiness and coverage.
Develop and maintain master test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and reports.
Conduct final cycles of functional, integration, and performance testing prior to release.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product demonstrations.
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks (UI/API) using Selenium, Cucumber, and Datadog.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent) with quality gates and deployment validation.
Improve automation reliability by addressing flaky tests and execution performance.
Automate data validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
Track and report on key quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and automation success rates.
Produce clear, decision-oriented test reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Act as focal point for product owners and business users during testing cycles.
Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external vendors.
Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to QA team members.

Role Overview

Test scenarios and cases for final test cycles prior to UAT
