Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Technical QA to join our team in a hybrid setup at Eastwood Libis QC. The role requires 5+ years in technical QA, with strong automation and API testing experience.

You will review quality specs, design test plans, and create robust test cases while coordinating with offshore teams. Responsibilities include gap analysis, Jira-based backlog management, test case creation, and validating fixes in live environments.

Responsibilities

• GAP Analysis and feedback on quality specifications and designs.
• Perform sanity testing and create JIRA cards from gaps.
• Verify backlog items and define severity and priorities.
• Estimate effort to test backlogs and create test cases from client specs.
• Tag and link JIRA cards to test cases based on results.
• Conduct Sanity Testing on live environment to verify deployments.
• Perform API Testing and ensure integration readiness.

Job description

The Technical QA is responsible for reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You are also expected to create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Job Details:

• Technical QA
• Eastwood Libis QC (hybrid setup)
• Monday to Friday | 11 AM to 8 PM Manila Time

Responsibilities:

• GAP Analysis
• Conduct sanity testing on the current version of the system, then create JIRA cards based on Gap Analysis
• Verify the backlogs based on the raised JIRA cards
• Define severity of backlogs and address priority based on the deadlines/timeline given
• Give a projection of the effort needed to accomplish testing of backlogs
• Create test cases based on the client specification
• Verify JIRA cards ready for QA, then tag them accordingly based on the test results, linking the JIRA cards to test cases
• Conduct Sanity Testing on live environment to verify that the fixes/changes were deployed properly
• API Testing

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a Technical QA Role
• Experience with Automation Testing
• Experience with API Testing
• Experience working with an offshore team
• Experience with Various QA Tools
• Experience with the following tools would be a HUGE Plus (Jira, Confluence and Zephyr)
• Good communication skills
• Excellent Documentation Experience
