Job summary

Eagle Cement Corporation is seeking a procurement professional to analyze purchase requests, convert them into purchase orders, and ensure timely sourcing of materials. The role emphasizes negotiating with accredited vendors to optimize costs and savings while safeguarding company assets and inventory integrity.

Candidates should have a engineering or business degree, 2+ years in procurement, and demonstrated ERP proficiency. Willingness to work in Bulacan or Batangas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or college degree in Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in any ERP system.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management is preferred.
• Willing to be based in Bulacan and/or Batangas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze PRs and convert them to Purchase Orders.
• Process PR to PO and negotiate with accredited vendors to optimize cost efficiency.
• Drive cost savings initiatives through strategic sourcing and spend analysis.
• Secure and protect company assets assigned for confidentiality and integrity.
• Familiar with spare parts, materials, and consumables to deliver right materials.
• Negotiate for best terms with approved suppliers to maximize savings.

Job description

• Analyzing PR and processing / converting it to Purchase Order
• Process PR to PO
• Negotiate ONLY with accredited vendors in buying materials in order to optimize (maximize) cost efficiency and savings
• Secure and protect company assets assigned for confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Familiar with equipment, methodology, usage of all spare parts, materials, and consumables to be sourced/buy for; through this, able to deliver right material
• Drive cost savings initiatives and introduce innovation awareness through strategic sourcing approach (Spend Analysis) to generate significant, sustainable, and unique savings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or any field), Business Studies / Administration / Management, or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in any ERP system
• At least 2 yeas of working experience in the related field is required for this position (Procurement / Purchasing)
• Experienced employees, specializing in Purchasing / Inventory / Material & Warehouse Management, or equivalent
• Willing to be based in Bulacan and or Batangas
