Job summary

Baker's Fair & Foodmart Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Parts Custodian to handle, store, and issue technical spare parts, hardware, and tools.

The role requires identifying components, verifying specifications, and ensuring engineering and production teams get the correct parts for repairs and maintenance. Key responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying PO matches, organizing the Parts Room, maintaining logs, and issuing correct hardware per technician guidance while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of hardware terminology (diameters, thread types, electrical ratings, pneumatic fittings).
• High School Diploma or Vocational Diploma.
• Excellent attention to detail in recording part numbers (SKUs) and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments of hardware, machine parts, and tools.
• Verify specifications against Purchase Orders and descriptions; check bolt grades, motor specs, valve types.
• Maintain an organized Parts Room with a logical system for easy retrieval.
• Record movements in digital and manual logs; perform regular cycle counts for high-value parts.
