ConnectOS is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable SAAS solutions in a hybrid Manila setup. You will drive major features from concept to delivery and provide mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.

Collaboration with product, QA, and DevOps will ensure business needs are met with high quality. The role requires 5+ years of professional software development, strong C#/.NET skills, RESTful APIs and microservices experience, and familiarity with Azure or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C# and .NET (Framework or Core).
• Strong knowledge of web technologies and React.
• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• SDLC and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing; Build-in-Quality practices.
• CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure SAAS software solutions.
• Take ownership of significant features and components from concept through delivery and support.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver quality features.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and technology selection.
• Ensure adherence to best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and provide root-cause guidance.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and productivity.
