Job summary

ConnectOS in Manila, Philippines, seeks an experienced software engineer to drive solution design across front-end, back-end and integrations while mentoring peers and delivering robust platforms. The role focuses on agile development and collaboration with internal teams within a dynamic, client-centered environment.

You will contribute to an ERP transformation project, shaping backend and integration work on the new platform and ensuring timely delivery of commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective expert advice on progress and ability to meet service and solution deliverables within agreed expectations.
• Lead solution planning, liaise with relevant application experts, and lead solution design.
• Develop front-end, back-end, and integration components for current and existing platforms and applications, following agile methodologies.
• Work with internal teams to create and implement technical designs and architecture in line with business requirements.
• Mentor other developers to uplift skills in new technologies and software development best practices.
• Produce solution design documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Support business activities using in-house developed and third-party applications, providing expert technical support.
• Lead and assist in the upgrades of many in-house developed applications to stabilize the JBS technology stack in preparation for the ERP project.
• Play a significant role in the upcoming ERP transformation project, particularly in backend and integration development on the new platform.
