ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead an offshore squad, owning end-to-end design, build, test, release, and operation of complex components with independence and technical judgment. A key focus is elevating squad output through disciplined coding and automated testing.

You will mentor engineers, drive automated testing, and ensure security, performance, and observability while coordinating across time zones to deliver reliable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Design, build, test, release, and operate complex software components.
• Hands-on with Flybuys tech stack: JavaScript, Java, Python, Golang; React, SpringBoot, Hibernate.
• Automated testing across unit and integration levels; accessibility.
• Secure-by-design, performance, resilience, and observability focus (Datadog).
• Production readiness: logging, monitoring, runbooks, diagnostics.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and coaching.
• Communicate progress and risks across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of software components and services.
• Coach engineers and conduct code reviews; influence technical decisions.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure security, accessibility, performance, and observability.
• Establish production readiness including logging, monitoring, and runbooks.
