Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a senior software engineer to lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable SAAS solutions. You will own major features, drive delivery, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.

You will collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps, participate in architecture reviews, and uphold clean-code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimisation while adopting new technologies to boost security and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Expertise in C# and .NET (Framework or Core) and OOP principles.
• Experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban.
• Proficiency in unit/integration testing and Build-in-Quality practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure SAAS software solutions.
• Take ownership of significant features and components from concept through delivery and support.
• Mentor and support mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver features meeting business needs and quality expectations.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and technology selection.
• Ensure adherence to best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimisation.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and guide root-cause analysis.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.
