We are looking for experienced Technical Instructors with Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) or Avionics expertise to deliver high-quality technical training and ensure compliance with aviation industry standards.
About the Role
As a Technical Instructor, you will design, deliver, and evaluate technical training programs for aircraft maintenance personnel. You will ensure training quality, maintain course materials, mentor trainees, and support the organization's technical competency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical technical training based on approved course authorizations.
- Prepare, update, and continuously improve training materials, presentations, and course content.
- Develop training schedules, classroom activities, and practical exercises.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all training conducted.
- Evaluate trainee performance and maintain training quality and consistency.
- Enforce classroom discipline, safety, and learning standards.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship to trainees and fellow instructors.
- Serve as an examiner or panel member for technical assessments when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related aviation discipline.
- Holder of a valid CAAP Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) License with Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) ratings OR a valid CAAP Aviation Maintenance Specialist (AMS) License with Radio, Electronics & Instrument ratings.
- Minimum of two (2) Aircraft Type Ratings.
- Successfully completed the technical course(s) to be facilitated within the last 24 months.
- Current certifications in mandatory aviation training, including:
- Human Factors in Maintenance (HFEM)
- Fuel Tank Safety (FTS)
- Safety Management System (SMS)
- Ramp Safety
- PCAR
- EWIS
- Train the Trainer
- Experience with Airbus Maintenance Training Device (MTD) is an advantage.
- Strong technical presentation, facilitation, and instructional skills.
- Leadership or Instructor Development training is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and passport are advantageous.
