Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Philippines Inc. is seeking a professional engineer to perform scheduled maintenance on airframes and powerplants, with focus on airworthiness and safety standards.

The role requires proven experience in rotary aircraft maintenance and hands-on technical expertise. You will work under the guidance of the maintenance leadership, ensuring compliance with CAAP/EASA/FAA regulations and applying current OEM manuals and references.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aviation/Aerospace) required.
• 2+ years of relevant aviation maintenance and engineering experience.
• Valid and current license from governing aviation authority (CAAP/EASA/FAA).
• Specialized training and certificates relevant to aircraft maintenance accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of airframe and powerplant systems as per manuals and references.
• Tear down, testing, inspections, troubleshooting, repair and modification of airframe/powerplant and related components as applicable.
• Comply with airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and related technical publications to maintain aircraft airworthiness.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accomplishes Scheduled Maintenance and Servicing of Aircraft’s Airframe, Powerplant Systems and related Components as required and in reference to applicable and current Aircraft’s Maintenance Manuals/ Technical References.
• Performs Tear Down, Testing, Inspections, Troubleshooting, Repair and Modification (As applicable) Airframe, Powerplant and associated System/Components i.a.w. the Approved /Current/Applicable OEM Maintenance Manual/Technical References.
• Accomplishes Airworthiness Publications such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Alert Service Bulletins and Related Technical Publications to Ensure Continued Aircraft Airworthiness Improvement and Sustainable Maintenance Programs.
• Certify maintenance tasks i.a.w. the Release Authorization with Appropriate Rating (As specified) Issued by AHPI Quality Department in respect to the Maintenance Ratings and Approvals by Governing National Civil Aviation Authority (i.e. CAAP, EASA, FAA...).
• Ensure Delegated Maintenance Work Packages are Completed in an efficient and cost effective manner, thus this should not compromise Quality and Safety Standards.
• Perform other Tasks as directed by the Immediate Supervisor as Reasonable and Practical in line with general scope of his/her skills and expertise, In Addition to Work Related Inherent Administrative Matters.

Professional Skills

• Bachelor of Science, 4 years Degree Course in Engineering (Preferably in Aviation/Aerospace, Specializing Airframe and Powerplant
• 2 years or more, Relevant Experience in Aviation Maintenance and Engineering (Rotary Aircraft / Helicopter Maintenance Experiences is an Advantage)
• Specialized Training and Certificates as Appropriate/Relevant
• Valid and Current Governing National Aviation Authority License (i.e. CAAP, EASA, FAA ...), as applicable
• Computer Literacy for up to date special applications softwares and microsoft , other operating systems as required and currently in use in Aviation Industry
