Wireless Link Technologies, Inc. in Manila is seeking a Technical Engineer (Survey and Design) to conduct site surveys, capture customer requirements, and craft technical designs for private and government projects, supporting pre-sales and implementation.
You will prepare BOQ/BOM, create Gantt charts, verify TOR compliance, lead implementations, and provide on-site support and training for sales teams and partners.
The Technical Engineer (Survey and Design) is responsible for conducting site surveys, understanding customer requirements, and developing suitable technical designs and solutions for private and government projects. The role supports pre-sales, project implementation, commissioning, and after-sales activities, while ensuring that proposed solutions meet customer requirements, technical standards, and bid specifications.
The role may also support Channel and Service Delivery activities, as required.
Perform site surveys for private and government projects in coordination with the Enterprise and Government Sales Department and Channel Sales Department.
Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and site surveys to understand project requirements.
Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable products and integrated solutions.
Deliver system designs and technical solutions using MS PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD, or other relevant tools.
Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) or Bill of Materials (BOM) for project proposals.
Prepare Gantt Charts and Scope of Work for each project proposal.
Verify compliance sheets based on the Terms of Reference (TOR), customer requirements, and bid specifications.
Lead project implementation and provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting and on-site assistance.
Ensure that proposed solutions comply with technical standards and project requirements.
Conduct system testing and commissioning to complete project implementation.
Conduct product training, technical enablement sessions, and technology updates for the Sales Team, channel partners, dealers, resellers, system integrators, end-users, and customers.
Assist in the evaluation, testing, and validation of new technologies and solutions.
Perform technical functions related to pre-sales, survey and design, service delivery, and other business or project requirements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Department Head.
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or any related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in site survey, technical design, systems integration, telecommunications, or related technical roles.
Experience in conducting site surveys and preparing technical designs for private and government projects is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficient in Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD.
Ability to prepare BOQ/BOM, Scope of Work, and Gantt Charts.
Able to prepare professional technical presentations, solution proposals, and network diagrams.
Knowledge and experience in security and surveillance products such as CCTV, Wi‑Fi, Two‑Way radio, Access Control, time attendance, Network routers, switches, Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS), and public address systems. Both design and implementation.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Able to conduct technical product presentations and customer demonstrations.
Training and facilitation skills for internal teams and channel partners.
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
Strong analytical and solution design capabilities.
Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
WFO - Monday to Saturday
Willing to conduct client visits and site surveys.
Willing to travel within and outside Metro Manila as required.
