Job summary

OpenText in Makati, Philippines seeks a Senior Technical Audit Support Developer to enable software license compliance audits through automation and data validation. You will work with auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data collection and aligned audit methodologies.

The role requires 6+ years in technical roles, Go scripting, cloud concepts, data analysis with Excel/Power Query, and REST API experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical roles supporting software audits, licensing, or enterprise IT environments.
• Proficient in scripting and platform-independent languages (Go) for self-contained code.
• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excel (Advanced) and Power Query for data shaping/automation.
• Proficient with REST APIs for data integration/automation.
• Awareness of information security and data handling best practices.
• Experience with data anonymization to protect privacy.
• Ability to parse log files for audit data.
• Ability to interpret software license terms in technical contexts.
• Familiarity with enterprise deployment architectures and software discovery tools (SCCM, Flexera, Snow).
• Experience with Git/GitHub for collaboration and change tracking.
• Understanding of containers/virtualization (Docker, VMware).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and data modeling for audit data.
• Awareness of software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, perpetual).
• Strong client empathy and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Basic UI/UX awareness to support tool design.
• Experience with testing/QA to ensure reliability.
• Proficiency with documentation standards (Markdown, Confluence).
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools for audit data collection/analysis.
• Provide technical expertise during client engagements, validating non-standard usage claims.
• Collaborate with product management to align audit methodologies with license metrics.
• Interpret licensing terms and assess deployment architectures across environments.
• Document solutions and demo tools to auditors and stakeholders.
• Apply data anonymization techniques to ensure privacy/compliance.
• Parse and analyze log files to extract usage data.
• Communicate findings clearly to internal/external stakeholders.
• Partner with legal/compliance, sales, and account teams to ensure audit integrity.
