Job summary

OpenText in Makati, Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting within the Finance organization. You will perform journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analyses, and close-related deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, SAP experience, and the ability to drive process improvements while supporting audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years progressive accounting experience with US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, and month-end close.
• SAP experience required; strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, estimates, and accruals.
• Manage month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial analyses and variance explanations.
• Support audits, SOX controls, and internal control processes.
• Drive process improvements and collaborate with partners.
