Job summary

HRTx Inc in Makati is seeking a Senior Backend Tech Lead to guide one or more software development teams onsite. You will shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable solutions across Java, Golang, Node.js, or similar stacks.

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to set priorities, plans, and release timelines within an Agile framework. Strong communication and supply chain tech experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in backend development (Java, Golang, Node.js, Scala, or similar) with prior technical leadership experience.
• Familiarity with APIs, GitOps, and Agile software development practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; supply chain technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor one or more software development teams while providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable technology solutions, actively contributing to coding, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical priorities, delivery roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Support Agile delivery by managing sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ensuring user stories are ready for development.
• Maintain engineering best practices by enforcing code quality standards, driving innovation, and improving development processes.
