Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations to achieve DHL operational standards, customer requirements, and business targets.
• Manage and support Receiving, Picking, Packing, Expedite, Shipping, and other outbound warehouse activities.
• Assist the Operations Manager in driving operational performance, workflow control, and service excellence.
• Communicate and cascade KPIs, objectives, priorities, and expectations to Frontline Leaders and Coordinators.
• Serve as the escalation point for operational, customer, quality, and people-related concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to support daily operational requirements and meet productivity goals.
• Monitor and drive key performance indicators related to productivity, quality, safety, delivery, attendance, labor utilization, and cost.
• Analyze operational data, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), OMS standards, and customer requirements.
• Review, approve, and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Lead shift handovers, performance reviews, leadership meetings, and operational briefings.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Frontline Leaders and team members through training, performance management, and continuous feedback.
• Ensure employees complete required training, cross-training, onboarding, and Excellence School programs.
• Conduct and support audits, OMS confirmations, Gemba walks, process confirmations, and safety initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen activities to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and improve attendance, overtime, employee engagement, and overall team performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
• Promote safety, quality, teamwork, employee recognition, and DHL's First Choice Culture.
• Ensure achievement of operational KPIs, customer service levels, and continuous improvement objectives while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
