Job summary

Tactics PH in the Philippines is seeking a passionate TCG enthusiast to manage day-to-day store operations and run in-store events across MTG, Riftbound, and other lines. You will engage with players, answer questions, and help grow the local community.

This hands-on role requires knowledge of TCGs, excellent customer service, and the ability to run events and promotions. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Genuine knowledge of and interest in TCGs; MTG knowledge preferred.
• Prior experience running organized play events preferred.
• Comfortable with basic POS/inventory systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/evenings for events.
• Basic social media savvy for event promotion.

Responsibilities

• Man the store during operating hours: greet customers, answer product questions, and process sales.
• Maintain sales floor organization, restocking, and display upkeep for singles, sealed product, and accessories.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Handle basic customer service: buylist/trade-ins, order pickups, and general inquiries.
• Keep the store clean, secure, and presentable.
• Plan, set up, and run in-store events (e.g., Friday Night Magic/Modern, prereleases, draft nights).
• Manage event registration, pairings, and tournament software.
• Promote upcoming events via social media and in-store signage/flyers.
• Track event attendance and gather feedback to improve future events.
• Stay current on the competitive meta across MTG, Riftbound, and other carried games.
• Provide informed recommendations on decks, singles, and sealed product.
• Build rapport with regular players and help grow the local player base.

Tactics PH is looking for a trading card game enthusiast to help run day-to-day store operations and organize in-store events across our TCG lines (Vibes TCG, Magic: The Gathering, and beyond). This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the hobby and wants to help grow a local TCG community.

Job Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Man the store during operating hours: greet customers, answer product questions, and process sales

• Maintain sales floor organization, restocking, and display upkeep for singles, sealed product, and accessories

• Assist with inventory management

• Handle basic customer service: buylist/trade-ins, order pickups, and general inquiries

• Keep the store clean, secure, and presentable

Event Management

• Plan, set up, and run in-store events (e.g., Friday Night Magic/Modern, prereleases, draft nights, Riftbound events)

• Manage event registration, pairings, and tournament software (e.g., Companion App, or similar)

• Promote upcoming events via social media and in-store signage/flyers

• Track event attendance and gather feedback to improve future events

Community & Product Knowledge

• Stay current on the competitive meta across MTG, Riftbound, and other carried games

• Provide informed recommendations on decks, singles, and sealed product

• Build rapport with regular players and help grow the local player base.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SortSwift or similar TCG inventory tools

• Judge-level rules knowledge for MTG, Riftbound .
