Qualifications

• CPA license is mandatory for the role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with tax handling and BIR processes.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with external auditors for year-end audits and tax compliance.
• Prepare schedules, supporting docs, and disclosures for auditors.
• Coordinate internal and external teams to meet statutory reporting deadlines (BIR, SEC).
• Lead tax filings and compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations (Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes).
• Serve as liaison for BIR audits, inquiries, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain the full set of accounting records and books.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Mentor and supervise two junior/general accounting staff.
• Coordinate with SEC, LGUs, and other government agencies.
