Confidential Careers is seeking a hands-on Tax Supervisor in the Philippines to manage all tax activities, ensure timely filings, and oversee audits and strategic planning for a dynamic hospitality and tech-driven business.

The role requires a CPA with at least 5 years of Philippine tax experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive tax experience.
• Strong expertise in Philippine taxation laws, regulations, and BIR practices.
• Experience in multinational, hospitality, or tech-driven company is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage BIR audits hands-on while also providing strategic oversight.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP or Netsuite accounting system or any accounting software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of timely filing and payment of all monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate tax returns and schedules (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, final tax, DST).
• Oversee tax accounting entries, deferred tax calculations, and group reporting packages.
• Coordinate renewal of business permits and statutory registrations with government offices.
• Represent the company in BIR audits, examinations, and assessments with proper documentation.
• Provide tax guidance to internal stakeholders on transactions and projects.
• Stay updated on Philippine tax legislation and industry practices; communicate changes proactively.
