Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Tax Senior Staff Accountant to join our Global Resource Team. You will work with U.S. tax professionals to prepare individual and business tax returns for clients across various industries.

You will help deliver accurate, timely work while gaining experience with more complex tax matters and developing skills to take on greater responsibility. This in-office role follows U.S. hours and requires 100% onsite attendance and night shift alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two to three years of relevant tax preparation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to work 100% onsite and Night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities.
• Organize and review client financial information, identifying missing documents, inconsistencies, and questions for the U.S. engagement team.
• Prepare clear, complete workpapers that support tax return calculations and allow for an efficient review.
• Use tax preparation, document management, and workflow software to complete assignments and maintain organized engagement files.
• Keep engagement teams informed of assignment status, outstanding items, and potential delays.
• Address review comments and incorporate feedback into future assignments.
• Assist senior team members with more complex tax matters, including research and specialized projects.
• Participate in training, share knowledge with colleagues, and continue building technical and supervisory skills.
• Follow firm procedures for protecting confidential client information and meeting quality standards.
