Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Tax Senior Staff Accountant to join our Global Resource Team in Manila. You will work closely with U.S. tax professionals to prepare individual and business tax returns and assist with complex tax matters.

The role emphasizes timely, accurate work and collaboration within a team, with 100% onsite attendance and night shifts. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in tax prep and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two to three years of relevant tax preparation experience.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite and night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Review client financial information and identify missing documents or inconsistencies for the U.S. engagement team.
• Create clear workpapers to support tax return calculations and facilitate review.
• Utilize tax software and workflow tools to complete assignments and maintain organized engagement files.
• Keep engagement teams informed of status, items outstanding, and delays.
• Address review comments and apply feedback to future work.
• Assist senior members with complex tax matters and research.
• Participate in training and share knowledge to grow technical skills.
• Follow firm procedures to protect client confidentiality and ensure quality standards.
